Sketch a Day 36i

Hello again - just a quick update as I don't want to take away the emphasis on #artforepilepsy and I hope you will support in any way you can - even if it's to forward to your followers - someone may be out there who can help. Thank you.

Tonight is a re work of a watercolour on stretched paper - the paper is dampened and then stretched onto a wooden frame; as if you were stretching a canvas. I love this part of the process as it becomes part of the art. The advantage to stretching the paper is that the watercolour sits on top rather than sinking in - giving a much more luminous effect to the paint or greater depth of colour, at least. I hope you like this work - would love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by.
